OTA = Online Travel Agency, which means those sites that sell the booking and take the payment for you.

I think it is a glitch. In my case a guest enquired with email, phone number and address incliuded in the body of the message. Phone and email details redacted, but not the address. In this case I was unable to find the person concerned, so had to reply through the system.
