Booking.com - can you live in UK if villa is in Spain?

OTA = Online Travel Agency, which means those sites that sell the booking and take the payment for you.

And yet we consistently book hotels we see on booking.com cheaper direct. In every case we have contacted hotels we have got a better price....or a better package (free wine, discounted meals etc)

This has happened in both the UK and Spain

I agree I got 25% discount last time when booking direct at the hotel and saying that I saw X euro on booking.com what can you offer if booked direct.
So many clients that are not doing it, I don't understand people...

Booking.com is convenient. Nowhere else gives so many hotels in the same area on a search. Easy to check requrements. Easy to book, and if not a prepaid rate easy to cancel. I've found hotels on there that I would not have found by other means, who were not chains or part of an organisation.
