I rarely take photos with my phone and always use my camera - I then send the ones I want to my FB messenger account and upload them to Instagram from there. Very easy.

This has been a hugely helpful thread - many thanks Kirigiwi for starting it and sharing all you learned.

Having spent the last few months getting my head around Facebook, I finally felt ready (ish) to move on to the next challenge and took the plunge into Instagram today!

I've followed all others mentioned here, my brand new shiny page is: https://www.instagram.com/casawindlenook/

I have come at Instagram from the opposite direction. I have integrated an Instagram feed into the HolidayViews Direct accommodation listing environment for the 'Book Direct' market.

So, owners listing on HVD can link to Instagram and pull their images into their listing. It makes for a great visual representation of the accommodation and, I think, will help listing visitors to feel more confident about booking direct.

See http://www.holidayviewsdirect.com/artic ... dfeed-link

So, I probably understand more about Instagram's backend api than I do about how to use the app!! If you have any questions about that side of it, don't hesitate to ask.
