This seems like a great idea.

Let someone (something actually) fight back on your behalf.

Hmm sounds good but how do we know its not a sophisticated way of harvesting emails for some other use ?

Isn't it a sad reflection of new things that we always think this?

In this case, the chat bot is offered by a company called Netsafe who are a reputable New Zealand company, and I thought it was a very cool use of technology to fight scammers.

Mind you, personally, I still prefer good old fashioned stoning to death for all scammers, phishers and spammers

That's good to know - and yes I regret that now my scam alarm is all too active - comes of being almost bitten once so I now never seem to let my guard down - even when I think things are probably OK! I also like the idea of your other remedy :)
