Looking at Shaz's other thread getting permission for a swimming pool is perhaps not such a great priority at the moment.
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.

Ah yes the sand filter - if got damaged after the sand got contaminated by debris let over from the re-grouting and tile repairs by the contractor - should not have happened of course but we could not prove anything so could not claim from them. Fragments of tile also ruined the pump!
Understood, thankfully rare occurrence.
A friend of mine used leak fix on a customers pool but didn't know to turn the valve to recirculate so the leak fix went into the filter and it became rock! :oops: He is a good guy though and bought his customer a new filter, not like yours by the sound of it.
