GDPR webinar for owners in Spain

Post by Clauss »

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share a live webinar organised by Spain-Holiday.com on May 10th which aims to help homeowners and rental agents understand their obligations in dealing with the data from the customers, the penalties and risks for non-compliance and, most importantly, a step by step roadmap to becoming GDPR compliant as a small business owner in the holiday rental industry. It is free to register and attend and even if you cannot attend the LIVE webinar, if you register, you can access the webinar recording afterwards. https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/rt/3696554084494057729

Over 200 owners have already signed up. Feel free to join them.

Have a wonderful day :)

Thank you for that news.
Having read through a lot it is still confusing as to what needs to be said on the GC registration forms, if anything. Or even our website enquiry form.
No doubt it will have a huge impact on your business.
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.

We had a talk with our gestoria. It seems that this new law is not a lot of difference from the laws on the statute books in Spain. If you run a business which takes client data via the web then you have to be registered with the LOPD. If not then even with this new EU regulation you will still have to do that.
We are carrying as normal.
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.
