Thanks for the list AlpineHerosChalet. A big drop-off after the first two (BC and AB&B). HomeAway UK seem to be holding its own, which is a surprise. HA(UK) TrustPilot rating has improved to "Average", but due I am sure to their being allowed to canvass for reviews (captioned "verified order") from a happy subset of their customers.

We have gone from 20 weeks of rentals in our best year, down to 13 weeks, and then down to 6 weeks this year. We have great reviews - close to 30 on Trip Advisor and 10 or so on VRBO/Homeaway.

One difference is that there are way more places available so that the companies are using finer geographical resolution. For example, in the past, we would show up in a Pezenas search (and Pezenas is a popular Languedoc destination). Now you almost need to specify our village (Neffies, about 15 minutes from Pezenas) to see our listing. In fact, most of our renters had a particular affinity for Neffies.

Any thoughts on this?
We are Canadians who love spending time in Languedoc.
