We take the odd booking via Booking.vom but we are clearly doing something wrong on payments.
Currently we request a card on booking.vom to secure the booking but as they did not previously take online payments this just secures the booking, they still need to pay us directly.
Our guests always seem to ignore our requests for payment assuming they have paid with the card details given. I did try online payments previously but this didn't work as they generated a virtual credit card that we had to charge. We couldn't do that as we only use stripe.
Am I missing something? this process seems too hard/broken.
i was signed up with booking.com previously and payments went to booking.com
Have just started advertising with them again and am assuming and hoping the same thing will happen

Firstly have you contacted the company to ask this question?
If so what have they said?
