Embedding Stripe in a website

Post by Sparks »

Has anyone managed to do this sucessfully and give me any tips?

I have followed the documentation and have managed to get the front end working but have got stuck implementing the back end.

I have tried to use the following guide:

https://tomasz.janczuk.org/2016/01/acce ... tasks.html

but for some reason I just can't get it to work.

Reading loads of documentation makes me feel it is something to do with the parse-body part not working but despite usully being able to figure things like this out I've given myself a headache.

I am sorry I can't give you any technical tips because it is not my field, although I have had Stripe installed on our villa website for about four years and very successful it has been.

The installation was done by our web designer (a former member of this forum) and he didn't say it was difficult to do. I can PM you an email address for him if you want, but he is a professional and so would charge, I expect.

Yes incorporating Stripe to a website is not well documented in the way I wanted to use it.

Have a look at:
https://canaryholidays.co.uk/payments.html

If this is what you are trying to achieve them PM me and I will see if I can help

Thank you both.

This is what i'm trying to achieve:
https://cluster4.secure-staging.uk/appl ... stbed.html

If anyone wants a go credit card 4242 4242 4242 4242, expiry date in the future, CVV any 3 digit number.

I definitely think there is something that I can use your solution Beamish.
If there isn’t then I will get back to you Andrew about the contact details.

Seems like you are talking about 2 very different approaches. One uses webtasks, the other has a more 'traditional' php scripting backend.

If webtasks is the way you want to go, you should perhaps ask a more detailed question on a forum like stackoverflow . Someone there could probably help you.
