Renting a property in Spain

Post by Enaid »

We are used to renting property in France - we have rented out our own one there for 14 years. We have also stayed in other regions of France. However we have just sold our house in France, and are looking to have long touring holidays in other countries.

I hate the likes of Homeaway and Holiday Lettings with a vengeance and really don't want to use them. In France there are still a couple of direct with the owner companies (Chez Nous and Holiday France Direct).

Can you please advise me of similar rental companies for Spain in which you still deal direct with the owner?

We don't know where in Spain yet, but may begin with the north coast.
Thanks.

Booking.com you deal with the owner. But you have to do it via the website.
Spain-Holiday.com has good reviews here. Look to see if they are what you are looking for.
Or use google maps and see if said accommodation is located on the map. Reserve directly.
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.

Some guests just need a sympathetic pat. On the head. With a hammer.
