I've just prepared and published my first blog. I should have done this 12 months ago, as starting now means I've had to cram a lot into 1 page. But its a start:

http://www.theconistoncottage.co.uk/miners-blog

I want to keep it simple and was thinking that future blogs would capture current events about the cottage and what's happening in the area, but any ideas would be most welcome

Thanks in advance of any help or advice.

This is my blog:
http://www.textileholidaysfrance.com/?cat=83

I run sewing holidays in south west France. My Facebook page is at:
https://www.facebook.com/textileholiday ... =bookmarks

though I try to update them both at the same time. Not much - if anything - about the area, I'm afraid, all about sewing!

just found this old thread and thought I would add my blog to it - the articles are all relevant to the area around Saint-Chinian: www.midihideaways.wordpress.com

New blog

Even though we haven't yet moved to France, I've set up a blog to record the experience: www.leroideprusse.com

It would be lovely if you clicked 'follow' then you'll be notified when the blog is updated, approximately once a week.

Looking forward to being open for business in 2021...

Before I even tought about short term rental I had started a website about Kefalonia and later included our holiday home in it in hope to be found outside the big platforms. To my surprise it worked quite well.

Welcome to this forum, Joleni, from another Kefalonian (only by residence)! Your blog is so nicely written that I would have thought you were a journalist if I hadn't known otherwise. Maintaining a blog requires energy and commitment, more so than just an ordinary website I should think. I am glad it works well for your holiday rental.

Thank you for the welcome, Andrew. I had seen that there is another Kefalonian in the forum and wondered if I know you. Thank you for your kind words about my website :)
