We women don't mind admitting when we make a mistake - I did the same last summer. Happily quoted them a special reduced rate because they were BOOKING at that time - but for a high-rate high-demand period! But since I had specifically said in the e-mail that I was offering a reduction, I couldn't very well go back and say "sorry, didn't mean it!"

Even after that, I neglected to update the rate on one website, where the hosts somehow decided that the Christmas period was low-season so my lowest weekly rate of the year was for Christmas week - and of course was snapped up!

Ah well, we live and learn!

No double bookings for me but I just this evening realised that when you visit my Virginia property through internet explorer the title of the website reads ...holiday home rental in Middleburg Virginia with poo - windows internet explorer. Arrgh, I usually use my AOL browser which has pool! POOL!! MUST change that tomorrow. Oh and I don't let my husband anywhere near bookings, money etc, I'd be a nervous wreck.

I love trifles...but I do think they get a bit excessive when they have too much alcohol in them...

you tend to have to keep your eye on that type at parties...as they can become a bit of a pain
