How much compensation should I give?

Thats fair enough then as ive said dont think Im not on your side its just that I wouldnt think of having hols without a pool...

Hope all goes well and you can only do what you can do and you seem to have done all you can...As you say it should all be done and dusted by June..

Our pool pump broke in June last year - 2 days before we had 2 couples due to arrive for a 7 night stay; we were told that a replacement would take a week to be ordered and fitted.

We contacted each couple, explained the situation and offered to pay for them all to have a weeks use of our local hotels pool with vouchers for them to have lunch there each day too. We also offered them an Evening Meal here with our compliments and put a few bottles of Vino + Bubbly plus Chocolates in their rooms on arrival.

They accepted this and left lovely comments in our guest book at the end of their stay saying how accommodationg we had been. They are coming back next month so fingers crossed all goes to plan now!

Pool was repaired the day after they left.
