Now, this one will have you arguing. I received this message from a Russian guy (who also sent his message to 4 other email addresses). I am not a sucker for spam messages and always err on the side of caution. W
What do you guys think, is it spam or real (hey, this is like Call My Bluff) - here is the message?
Dear commarades,
I am writing to you from Moscow. Me with friends have an interest to spend about forthnight in your amazing places. Would highly appreciate if you help us and promote with search and research of possibilities and opportunities.
Hereunder are some basic requirements that we want to be fulfilled for our vacation:
villa or cottege
venue: seaside (ranging from 10 m - 500m)
period: 7-21
number of sleeps: 7-15
approximate budget: EUR 2000-3500
location: does not matter in general
We understand that availability of great places is pretty limited, thus we are open to negotiate the month (June-August)
Please kindly send your proposals to the address below.

I'm very disappointed they did not consider our beach houses here in Normandy!!
I actually had some Russians stay in a house that I kept an eye on for a fellow owner...the Russians were genuine people - but what a nightmare, on arrival they got lost - took me 3 hours to find them - when I did they had arrived in France with no map....car broke down on the 2nd day so I spent hours in a garage helping them with their French which was non existent - no cover to get home either...the whole week they were here they had a crisis everyday...I was a jibbering wreck....then the owner of the property told me that he wasn't going to pay me for any of my time (we did have an agreement)...so Russians and looking after someone else's house is a big No No with me now!!

.....and I thought that Skoda's were quite reliable (hehe).
It looks like the vote is that this is probably a scam but anybody who wants a large Russian family for their guests are quite welcome to contact them via the above e-mail..........or would that be considered as scam
