How to take payments from overseas?

I've never had a problem in 20 years....yikes, am I so out of touch or just been lucky?

If it's a concern you can open an extra account only for payments, and when a payment comes in, transfer it to your 'proper' account. So the new account is always empty and nothing can be nicked from it.
