yes..it would be lovely to have an indian summer!
I think September and October can be the nicest months abroad....lovely weather, no crowds and some of the best sunsets of the year

Just for the record. I have a visitor's book full of compliments, including one that says that it's the best gite that they have ever stayed in, so I must be doing something right!
