Calling AndyLucia!
Or any other FS experts out there.
My friend has recently installed the software and he is having a couple of problems.
1. The FS menubar is hidden. What keystrokes are required to unhide it?
2. The programme shuts down after 20 minutes or so without any error message and the PC hangs. After restarting the the computer, FS opens as normal for the next 20 mins.
He has reinstalled the programme again but the problem continues. Any advice.
Thanks,
Maria

I just thought that a Forum dedicated to Flight Simulator and having Threads: 161,249, Posts: 1,103,920, Members: 30,173, Active Members: 1,522 might elicit the answer your friend is looking for. It’s a Forum where, no matter how simple a question might appear to be, an answer will be forthcoming.
Tener un día agradable.

Are you implying I might be a bit of an anorak Maria!!
The menu bar is an easy one, just press the 'Alt' key and all will be revealed.
Flight Simulator X is proving to be very buggy, and does need a fairly well specced machine to run. My first bit of advice would be that your friend needs to go here:
http://www.fsinsider.com/Pages/default.aspx
and download the two service packs, if they have not already done so.
Another good port of call would be the Microsoft support center:
http://support.microsoft.com/ph/11941
Good suggestion from Alan, as the Flightsim forums can provide useful info, but I'd suggest going to these two sites:
www.sim-outhouse.com
www.cbfsim.org
and registering on their forums. Both groups are very knowledgable, friendly and supportive - if your friend does go to those sites I am AndyG43 and AndyG respectively!!
Keep the blue side up, as they say!!
