You now seem to have location information in 3 different places on the home page and nothing about the accommodation - or am I not reading this right? You need to tell people what you are offering* at the top of the page and describe the accommodation under the thumbnails, I think!

e.g. We offer comfortable/stylish self catering accommodation in 3 different properties, all handy for touring the Northern Lakes.

Or whatever. I am sure you can embellish it better than anyone else as you know what you are offering!

I did a traceroute on your domain and the IP address it ended up on was being blacklisted by our firewall as pornography.

I then tried your site again and now it connects fine. No idea why this happened.

Anyway, the site looks great and I can hardly fault it. Some very good photography there. The only thing I find a tiny bit annoying is the page reloads completely on every link and the logo scrolls again.

My parents tried to persuade me to buy a place in the Lakes as they live there themselves. I told them I don't like rain.

I asked our department web "expert" who came up with this response:

"I suspect it might be because of the first bullet-point which contains the words "Cock" "Mouth" and "Galleries" sounds like porn to me!!!"

what a lovely set of properties! A couple of comments from me on lay out (rather than the content which looked fine)

I would make sure the banner at the top has a space above it - I kept trying to scroll up because I thought I missed something.

I would also align the photos on the left to the left of the banner as this would neaten the overall look (the photos are great by the way).

If there is any way that you could encase the links to other pages, that would make them stand out a bit more (maybe keep them black and shade out the back of your web site builder allows that?).

But these are all minor comments!

Hello Kirkland. Your cottages look lovely.

Just one comment from me, which I hope is helpful. When you click on to the "more info" for each property, you still get "blurb" (a good ol' Cumbrian expression  ) on all three properties. I think it would be more helpful if you clicked through to a separate page for each property.

Hope this makes sense.
