If you don't already know the best tip anyone experienced in optimising a website can tell you is to get as many websites linking to your site as possible.
Ideally the sites linking to you would be sites with the same theme as yours, i.e. holiday property, holidays, travel etc.
If you have a website and don't know how to find out who is linking to you then go to the appropriate search engine and type the text into the search box.
Altavista:
link:www.yoursite.net
Google:
link:www.yoursite.net
AllTheWeb:
link:www.yoursite.net
AOL / MSN
linkdomain:www.yoursite.net
Yahoo
linkdomain:www.yoursite.net
Hope this helps!

Who is linking to me?
Everything to do with using your own website to advertise your rental property. Design, usability, hosting, getting listed on the search engines, optimising your site, pay-per-click, etc, etc.
