Exclusive Holidays

Using press and magazine advertising, brochures, mailings - old hat or still cost-effective?

Exclusive Holidays

Post by Marion »

I've had a phone call from a magazine called Exclusive holidays. Has anyone any experience of them?
They publish a quarterly magazine which is then sold for £2.75 in WH Smith, Waitrose and other major stores and has a circulation of 25,000. They are offering me a 1/6th page advert for £225 for 12 months or £125 for six month. Although I am looking for non-internet advertising I am a bit doubtful of advertising in a magazine such as this that people pay for.

Marion,

Here are some previous discussions of this magazine:

I wouldn't advertise in a magazine myself, but if I was looking to, I would certainly advertise in a paid-for magazine rather than a freebie. I believe that if you have paid for a magazine you are likelier to read it cover-to-cover.

Thanks Paolo,
After reading the previous threads, I think I will give it a miss this time.
