Holiday Lets Now Long Term Lets

Post by apexblue »

I've noticed this year quite a lot of what were holiday lets now either no longer doing it or doing long term lets - has anyone else noticed this? Is this because of the changes next year I wonder?
It is better to remain quiet and have one think you are stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt....

The biggest mistake we make in life is thinking we have time.

I've not noticed that but I can't say I've been looking.

Interesting development, especially as repeal of FHL legislation isn't definite is it?

I haven't noticed any others in our area - having said that we have put tenants in one of our apartments over the winter and as one of our other houses is tenanted too, OH is making noises about doing it with all of them and having an 'easy' life for a while. My MP has written regarding the tax changes but no response as yet . . .
