Luxe Guides

Has anyone come across these guides? Beyond cool, they're available as stiff card concertinas or downloadable to exotic 'phone thingies (I think).

I haven't investigated the villas section, but it could be a goer for advertising.

We've found ours invaluable (Far East), although the where-to-be-seen advice on 24/7 clubs and other joints is not for goats, and not all the recommendations are 100% wholesome family fun: Stylish, brutally frank, and sometimes, frankly, brutal is the USP.

Some advice may get the LMH angels out with wings flapping: on a recommended Italian restaurant - 'you may consider taking a large stick with which to thrash your waiter soundly'. On a beachfront place - 'Sit on the deck. At night the candles twinkle, but will Hubby's eyes?' On a lobster restaurant - 'If he doesn't propose after this, chuck him, big time'. On a kite-surfing joint - 'Surfing is soooooo last season, poppet, simply everyone with a death-wish is kite-surfing....'.

Fabvenient and Glamvenient are interesting new recommendations to spice up your publicity.

Extensive advice on tough door policies whatever they are and how to workaround.

Good fun.

That has to be a leg pull, Party? Is creasing really a problem for girls? And the equivalent for boys can't be mentioned on a family site.

Can you imagine using it on 'plane - with that plastic thing sticking out of one's, er, blouse, and that soppy grin? It would cause a riot. And explaining it to security at an airport, fishing it out of your handbag.....with other curious passengers?

Yes, 'tis true I'm afraid MG. I think it depends on size of said ahem 'parts' and elasticity of skin which naturally decreases with age, elasticity that is, not size

Just a word of warning for all the blokes out there, this will NOT make an ideal birthday present.

 Oh Party, whatever next. A creased cleavage is the least of my concerns!

I can't see that gadget catching on much, can you? Uncool or what?!

Like MG said, it's what others might think at airport security that makes me laugh. Actually it reminds me of a very funny story concerning a friend with a perverse sense of humour, my birthday, a few too many cocktails (for a light drinker) & a restaurant ladies cubicle
