Pool question

Post by Mouse »

I'm setting up an advert for my Spanish neighbour on OD and he has a pool which has a large shallow ledge-type area where you walk in....sort of thing that you could lounge on though...so not a step.
Does anyone know if this has a name? Its quite a nice feature (and great for kids) and I'd like to mention in in the advert.

thanks!

I would suggest using language similar to your description above.

If it does have a special name, would the punters understand the jargon anyway ?

I have seen this described as a "tanning ledge" or a "beach ledge entry". "Shallow ledge entry" sounds good as well.

thanks...I also thought I'd heard something about a tanning or beach ledge! So I'm going to go with that...might help sell the dream!
