Guest profile in London & who to market to?

Post by bentisdall »

We're looking to set up a holiday rental in Queens Park, NW6. It's just a few stops from Paddington station so very convenient for Heathrow and transport generally. I'm wondering where to market it though?
Can I expect a lot of Americans or is it likely to be mainly Europeans or even Brits coming to the big City for a weekend?

To be honest that is impossible to answer. it will depend on so many factors. Like price, equipment, other rentals near by etc etc.But why would it matter who you have, as long as they pay you to stay?

If it's an apartment/flat go to http://www.theasap.org.uk (The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers) and take a look at their agency members through which you could market your property.

Ihave a couple of london rentals - I market mine through Homelidays and Ryanair rentals and do pretty well. My guests come from just about anywhere and everywhere. I'm not bothered where they come from, as long as I can rent it, I'm easy.

I didn't get the impression bentisdall was bothered about who they got as guests, it was more about being given information on who's attracted to holiday in London so they could take a look at where it was best to advertise to attract them.
