Can I / Should I plant two Leylandii?

For anything to do with the garden and pool

yeah, eucalyptus is a good idea. They do grow quickly and are really graceful in the breeze. We have one at the end of our garden that I planted as a little thing of about 10 inches, bought in a tiny pot, about 10 years ago and it must be about 20ft by now (or more) but it doesn't look horrible, it's really lovely and it ripples in the breeze really prettily.

How frost resistant are Eucalyptus? I'd love one but it does get very cold here in winter!

Well ours has had to cope with cold, snowy winters , down to minus 15 and is on a windy north facing aspect so me thinks they are pretty hardy.
It is amazing when you think that most summers they thrive in temps between 30 to 40 degrees here.

Ditto for us. And I agree, much more graceful and beautiful than a leylandii.
