Terracotta tiles staining pool liner

Hi

We got our pool opened over the weekend and found brown/rust marks above the waterline. The pool guy has 'diagnosed' the cause of the problem as the tiles around the terrace of the pool.

Has anyone experienced this problem and how did you remove this unsightly staining/marks.
