I nearly got taken in

Post scam emails to warn other rental owners, or if you are not sure if an enquiry is genuine, put it up here and see what others think.

I nearly got taken in

Post by tansy »

I got as far as sending the booking form - but they came back & said they couldn't down load it send bank details so they could send money.

I sent booking form again in another format - still they asked for bank details - so I emailed back - I don't think you are real - never heard from them again.

Then I had someone else saying he was on business in Hong Kong couldn't send back booking form - give over my bank details & he'll send money (New Year booking) I was rude back and said no way you scum bag con merchant - he emailed me back saying he fully understands - here is attached photo of booking form taken with mobile phone & web site address of business - he's only CEO of large company & technical difficulties in Hong Kong he couldn't send back form
it's all a learning curve!
