Should this be in owner-to-owner or website reviews?

@velociphiles

Just trying to help here. Hope you appreciate my comments.

I'm currently employed as a webmaster for a big commerical tv station in Belgium and I run my own webdesign/webdevelopment company http://www.thealliance.be as well.

For starters, it's always good to be enthousiastic about your own product ... so stating that "you will be amazed" in your initial post, caught my eye and made me click through ...

so that's good. :)

Regarding the website in itself, I have to agree with Paolo, when he commented on the pictures.

You have to empower your website visitors and attract and keep their attention from the very split second they lay their eyes on your website.

Empowering in your case: giving them direct / easy access to all the relevant content on your website. I'm sure the JWplayer you are using as a picture slider will allow you to enable thumbnails in there somewhere, so the user can just skip to the ones that interest them the most.

If not you could put some thumbs underneath the big image so your users feel they are in control, and not you, sliding those big beautiful images in slowly, one by one.

Other than that I think you're doing just fine on the loading times (from Belgium), clean and (maybe a bit too) sober website. You might want to add some little details that put me in a summer mood (being in the rain / cold here)

Good luck with your site and business !

kind regards,
Bart
