I wonder how accurate their article is. In it, they say the Olympics are this year...

I am from Chicago and have been looking into vacationing in the UK. I am quite the tourist but for some reason I have not yet been to England. Since it seems to be saying that tourism is down, do you think now would be a good time to come to get a good deal? What are some good places to stay as well as some attractions I must go to?
