Teetotollars.........

Post by Big Sis.. »

Hello, Can you please give us a price for villa B between the above dates. We are all non smokers and teetotalers and would be very respectful to your property.

EEK   :)

Dullards. Tell 'em you're fully booked
Some guests just need a sympathetic pat. On the head. With a hammer.

I would tell them "sorry, my cottage needs to be seen through the haze of alcohol and fag smoke to be properly appreciated"

I thought you were talking about Ros for a minute there, Sue!

I know what you all mean, though, something immediately gets your back up, doesn't it? You know, I bet they could be seriously picky guests, sniffing and complaining all the time. I could be doing them a huge injustice, I know, but there's something a bit "holier than thou" echoing around this, which rings alarm bells.

That would really worry me - the sum of one's vices is supposed to be constant ;-)

Honestly, I get a sniff of the "newly ordained Greek priests" out of that sort of writings. Most decent people do not feel the need to advertise it up front.

No Greek priests for a long time. My UK vicar was very real. After I turned him away like the inkeeper at Bethlehem, we haven't heard from him again.

Reminded me of this enquiry (legit) back in January. We sleep 8 plus baby, max.
Hi. we are two couples, each with three young, lovely, well-behaved girls (ages 8-13--sleeping two or three to a room easily) looking for a place to spend a leisurely two weeks near the beginning of august. Your place looks wonderful. Is it available? we would be excellent tenants-- no smoking, no animals, and nothing would get broken, but there would be squeals of laughter as the children play in the pool. Let me know. thank you. Merci.
