I'm in the process of providing more index pages in different languages.

Before I run off with my new best idea ever, is it a good idea?

I do have spanish and portugese speaking South Americans staying on odd occasions..

Sorry, but I think she's right.

For me, when choosing a property pictures are everything and I want to be enticed right from the start. Those dinky little pics just don't grab any attention and I doubt I'd bother looking at the rest of the site.

I'm in agreement too I'm afraid. You need a bit of a wow factor to draw people in and those photos do not entice me. A larger header photo or changing images if that's possible?

Then obey her?
I have to say the basic design is clean, but remove the "Updates and Changes "as it looks too much like a blog.
Add a load more information about the property.
Re order the menu to something more logical.
Remove the footer panel too.
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.

Folks,

This time SWMBO likes this, but what do you think,?

http://www.encantada-vacation.com/index1.html

Its only the index page, but the others will follow when pictures etc are updated, bought a few bits of art to hang, so I am currently dealing with these before re-doing the whole shebang.

Be gentle.....

Thanks

I think its a good start! The colourway is more attractive than before and it looks like it will be an easy to use layout. Can the font be a little darker and possibly one size bigger? It's not quite as clear as I think it could be. I don't remember what we have said earlier in the thread, but personally I'm not liking the scrolling photos - they are a bit distracting. I'd go with one or two key photos and then reveal the rest on the appropriate pages. :)

Cheers Nemo, the phots are only supposed to scroll once, getting used to Jquery scripting presently.
