Same for me. I've been with Sawdays for about 18 months and they bring in quite a few bookings.

AROUND 2.000 pounds.
AND as I have mlentioned on here before we are not suitable for
them.
However I am no longer interested in being involved in their set up.
They are chooesing properties purely for financial reasons not because of the quality, style etc.
Special places to stay.
Do the public know how they work?

The inspection is free and then the listing is quite expensive (I pay £525€ for my 3 gites) but not £2000 for a holiday rental. Since they have gone on line only late last year, I've noticed a significant increase in enquiries and bookings from them. I've had comments from guests that the fact that I've been inspected and listed with Sawdays has helped swing their decision to stay here, even if they didn't originally find me through them.

I paid just under £500 for a 2-year listing for 1 property. Not cheap, but worth it for me.

Interesting.
Well the fact that my nearest competition is just along the road
and operates a very nice chateau...NICE ROOMS.
Then there is us who are a mix of traditional and modern touches. Food, breakfast being a very relevant feature.
But the bigger boys who came first are very important.
For me I find a way to work with my competitors...WHEN I CAN in order to shape the local tourist trade and build our future.
Apart from developing our industry I have new friends...FOR THOSE who find it strange.....NO problem.

I was just answering the OP's question, not criticising what you do or don't do, Pujols.

Not sure why you suggested that I was thinking about what you said or do LA VACHE.
Did I address you about something?
I am just stating some facts.

You said 'for those who think for those who find it strange', which could have been meant for anyone posting on this thread. And if you call a listing price of £2000 a year for a listing with Sawday's a "fact", then you are factually incorrect.

So I still do not understand how this mentions or even suggests you? Even if you do find it strange to work with cometitors.
The fugure I mention relates to B and B and was mentioned a few years ago...TO COVER a 2 year period. I DO NOT WORK for Sawdays but I know an inspector....ONLY an aquaintance...BUT
HE HAS told me enough to add to the things I know.
There is no reason for you to create a picture which does not exist.
Maybe you are having a bad day.
