Cleaning a white pool liner?

Post by lel »

We are just getting started and are new to pools. The pool that we have inherited has a white pool liner, however the liner has taken on the brown tinge of the stagnant water that it has contained for the last two years. I was quoted 3,000 euros for a new liner and wondered if cleaning might be an option. Can anyone advise, -we are on the Dordogne/ Limousin boarder, many Thanks :?

I cleaned my blue/white liner last year. It was in a bad way as it was in my above ground pool in england.
All my Googleing was, run the filter, just moving around and feet on the floor moving stuff around will clean it.
I used a few chemicals and do remember them working , but they came from Google.
I would suggest finding a pool company and asking advice and maybe sending them a pic.
I think you can clean the liner for a lot less than 3k but it will be a lot of works and time, ( I guess a month /6 weeks
