My son has an i-pad (2) and the screen won't correct itself when it is turned sideways or updise down.
It used to but doesn't now.

Doies anyone know how to correct it?

There is a tiny switch on one side that can turn this on and off (according to your settings - the same switch can also do something else if your settings are different.)
