Leaking pool

Post by KathyG »

Just want a bit of sympathy really.......

Pool's had to be topped up too regularly for the last month, it's also been a real struggle to keep the algae away - not surprisingly. Anyway we've now concluded that there's a major leak somewhere, the caretaker can't sort it out, local pool shop doesn't know any company that repairs liners  so have now booked my husband onto the ferry tonight to go and sort it out. Luckily we took diving gear over there last time for just this purpose but we're planning a new liner at the end of this season......... It's a real pain as we're going over there anyway in 2 weeks!

Positives I suppose.....
No guests in this week, next lot due on Tuesday.
OH is in a position to be able to go over there.

Sympathies in abundance - at least all I have to do is hit the M3 if there's a problem!

What a nuisance - it must be so hard when these things happen and you aren't on site. Hopefully he'll be able to do a repair that will last the season

Thanks everyone! He would have arrived at the house at 8am this morning, it's now 11.50 over there and I still haven't heard anything :(

Two small leaks found, let's hope that's all it is. Now the wait to see if the water level drops....

Good and bad then! A problem but a resolvable one. Thank goodness hubby was free to go, and able to repair....... :)

Hope it holds for the rest of the season.
