Poo in pool

Post by CarolineH »

Sigh ... It's happened - small boy has pooed in my pool (wearing a swimming nappy, but we all know how good these are  )

Have hoovered it up (ironically my pool robot broke down last night, so I did it by hand!) and I guess I need to shock it now.

Any more advice - I think I need to keep people out until the Chlorine goes down under 4 ppm.

Hi Caroline
I wouldnt be too concerned about childs poo in your pool, if you have cleaned it out quickly after the event & it wasn't diarrhea i would lightly shock it & keep the pump running for 24hrs.

If you always do what you've always done then you'll always get what you've always got.
