There's something about snow and half-term which means we haven't got much left for February 2008.

We had an enquiry today for 1 week in May 2007, I will know at the end of the week whether we have a confirmed booking.

Kteee,

Aren't repeat clients just lovely? They have found "their place" and you have found new friends.

By the way, your website comes up blank at the moment. Are you rebuilding it?

We heard of a cottage in Cornwall where once you got there for the first time, this was "your week" and would be held until a point in the year when you had to confirm that you were coming. Woe betide you if you didn't confirm, as you would never get there again.

We've had one family five times in three years - twice on cheap e-Bay late bookings.

We love repeat bookings..as return guests 'just get on with it'...they know the villa and the surrounding area from before and we are more relaxed about not getting called out for 'silly' reasons.

Already have 3 weeks of gite bookings and 5 weeks of camping bookings for 2007. It's great to know that the pressure's 'off' a bit isn't it?

I have a booking for FEEB 2007, but they've made such a dogs dinner out of paying the deposit by Paypal, I wonder if it's worth it. I spent almost half an hour talking her through the paypal form, and then she got to the end and it said she needed a paypal account (she said she hadn't ever used PP before, but I think her hubby must've done without her knowledge). Now I have to wait for it to be verified before she can pay me. I have given her an extra 3 days, but if any enquiries come in, I'll be tempted to cancel her booking.
