VR Summit 2015

Post by antoniob »

Hi everyone again!

I'm glad to confirm that we're going to have the second edition of the Vacation Rental World Summit, that some of you watched online last year :)

I just started informing peers about it a few days ago.

You can read the story about it HERE.

I'll do my best to replicate last year's success, although it's not going to be easy.

If you have any questions I'm happy to answer!
Cheers,

Antonio,
I've looked through your whole invitation and it might be me, but when is it going to happen?

My calendar is full and signing up for something that I can't attend anyway doesn't make sense.

It's not you @Beachcondo :D it's actually me :)

The event is going to be in October. I haven't announced the dates yet because I'm polling people to see whether weekdays or weekend work best.
What would you - and the others reading - prefer?

It's going to be another 3-day event, with the difference that this year you get access upfront to all the recordings + the bonus content upon getting the ticket to attend (sort of like all the Owner Summits organized out there, with the only difference that you can watch and interact from home and at your convenience even after the event is over, as I will be always available and so should be the other speakers), so we can ensure we can cover the costs of putting everything up, continue for years and possibly setting up the leading yearly educational event in our industry, that delivers truly informative and actionable tips to manage our business successfully.

As a matter of fact, I plan to release a weekly update unleashing a speaker at the time and the topic they'll cover and I just started with myself today, explaining what I'm going to share here.

Hope that helps everybody!
Cheers,

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays would work best for me to avoid popular busy changeover days.

Definitely weekdays for me too, but I see weekends are winning on the online poll.

Antonio - I've signed up to attend the VRWS and am receiving email updates, but as yet still don't know the dates of the summit. Have the dates been decided yet?
Thanks for organising - look forward to it.

Hi Ele,
Weekends is what most people want and it makes sense to have the Summit after all the other industry events, that are held every weekend in October.

This said, the Summit will take place the weekend of 6th to 8th November.

I'll be announcing that in the next update (so you have a little anticipation here) :D

Thanks for asking!

I confirm the dates of 6-8 November 2015, starting from 2:00pm to 9:00pm GMT (London time)

You can read more about it and check this week's speaker Here

I'm here for any question you may have.

I am confused.

I´m pretty sure I signed up for this year´s conference but I keep getting a dripfeed of stuff about it which implies that I need to sign up. How do I check whether I´m signed up or not?

Hi @Brendan,

We just opened up registration to the summit yesterday.

Unless you regsitered yesterday, what you did before was (as said on site until we opened registration) signing up to the weekly updates sharing the topics of the Summit and leading to yesterday's opening for registration.

You can view all info about registration (and the 50%off discount we're giving this week) here:

Vacation Rental World Summit

This year's event requires an attendance fee and it brings along a money back guarantee to reverse the risk all on us.

I'm here if you have any questions. Thanks for asking.

Got it...So it will cost me either 297 dollars or 147 dollars to attend a similar event to last year's which was free...right? While the money back guarantee is comforting I'm afraid I shan't be taking up the offer.

I attended last year's event and did indeed take away some useful nuggets but not the guts of 300 bucks worth.

That's perfectly fine Brendon, I understand.

Just to make sure everyone else reading understands, current attendance is $147 for those taking it until October 24th., watch everything, download all content and engage with each speaker and other peers. Then if they don't see value they can get their money back. Not something Airbnb, HomeAway or similar companies would do.

297 will be after October 24th.
Cheers,

I ought to say that I'm a keynote speaker at this years event so I'm somewhat biased but there are different ways of looking at this.

First off there's 15 hours of cutting edge thinking and advice on show at this years summit.

With a money back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose.

Yes it does cost but ask yourself -

what if you get just one extra booking from implementing what you learn? Just one.

What's that worth?
