I hope it all went ok for them (and for you!) If they would have arrived on time (the right date) would the house been cold? or just the delay caused, that the house was cold?

Before I accepted the booking I told them I wasn't able to get hold of the cleaners/caretakers and therefore the house would not be prepared properly for them. But they decided to go anyway, had a great time and all was well.
