BookingSync

Post by villaravello »

Hi,

Has anyone any experience of using BookingSync?

It has a nice look to it and has most features required to update listing sites and handle enquiries and payments.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hello villaravello,
Don't know it but had a quick look.

I'd say don't bother. They want money just to channel manage! It quotes €67 per month for 10 bookings - gasp.

Better taking a look at Freetobook - which includes TripConnect and Booking.com in its channel manager - and is free to use. Plus a lot of sights, like Airbnb, Flipkey, will happily work with a simple iCal import that you can do from PIMS etc.

I say avoid.

BookingSync

Hi PJ,

Steven Gilbert here. I'm one of the co-founders of BookingSync.com. Thank you for your question.

To be sure, BookingSync is not simply a Channel Manager. Our software is built on three core functionalities:

1) Centralized Reservation System, which includes a central calendar to manage all bookings, guest management, contracts management, online payment acceptance, among other features)

2) Website Builder, to create your own personal search engine optimized vacation rental website

3) And, indeed, the Channel Manager

Here is a look at our feature page: https://www.bookingsync.com/en/feature_tour

In regards to pricing, we do *NOT* charge per BOOKING as the previous response indicates. We charge a monthly subscription per RENTAL managed within BookingSync. Thus, if you manage 10 RENTALS, the cost would come to €63/month, irrespective to how many bookings are generated: https://www.bookingsync.com/en/pricing

In other words, you can drive as many bookings as possible—this is not part of the cost.

I'd be happy to give you a demo or answer any further questions you might have. Just shoot me a message at support@bookingsync.com.

If you're weighing several software solutions, this is a helpful article to wade through the options: http://blog.bookingsync.com/en/news/201 ... -questions

Even if you decide not to go with BookingSync, all the best with your vacation rental business :).

Cheers,
Steven
