Yes if that's the aim then maybe, however smart ass's like this leave off addresses where they have had issues so those don't show up on a credit search as they only search the addresses they put down on the form. If you are lucky and they have taken out some form of credit that can via several systems through up a linked address but also a credit search on your property should be done to find this out. It's around a £1, haven't done it for several years but I believe you can now do it online.
