I don't have a Google+ page for my property - it hadn't occurred to me so thanks for the heads up :D

Occasionally yes! I have a small but growing group and have intentions to get going with it, but never enough time!

7 Aspire, I don't have the reservation thing either. I suspect some of us may have different type of pages? Mine was originally a Google business (as in on a map) before it became Google +.

I can't find anything about it when searching.

I use Google+

I don't have the Make a reservation button, either. I'm pretty sure that it relates to the category that you chose when you set up your Google+ entry - you can edit that to another category, and it should go away. I am listed as Cottage Rental

I use Google+ (posting most days & heading for 3 million views!)

I don't have a reservation panel

I am, I have over 2000 followers and almost 3 millions views, social media in all forms is the way forward with booking out our home (imo) but each to their own, it wouldn't do for us all to be the same

7 Aspire, I have something similar.
I got it when I created my first Google+ page under the wrong category. Instead of "Local"I set it up in the "Business" category.
So, did you create your Google + page under "Business" by any chance ?

7 Aspire, I am not too sure but I though Google Places was part of Google Maps. In that case, could it be because you registred with them?

As far as removing it, it does not appear to be possible (sponsored link)

Just resurrecting this old thread...I have dabbled with G+ but with very little success. I'm intrigued that Rosebud and Arkvilla in particular seem to have had a lot of success and wondered how you achieved it? No one I know seems to use it much but I'm guessing someone does with that many followers?

They both did Alan Egan's Bookings Plus 4G course which teaches you how to build followers, create an interesting G+ page, etc.
