Does anyone use Pinterest?

I initially set up an account and put my property pictures on boards but after that have not been active on it.

I have now gone through and pinned some relevant Brighton pictures and followed a couple of the associated "Pinners".

Any other advice welcome.

I'm on there - http://pinterest.com/ecogiteslenault/

If you google Pinterest tips you'll find lots of advice. Here's a few things that spring to mind

The best pins to get repinned are vertical ones
Check that any pin you repin actually goes to the site it purports to and not a porn site or suchlike or even to a page not found
Use key words in your descriptions
Pins about special events etc go out of date so are less useful
Always respond if some-one leaves a comment on one of your pins

I read somewhere that someone had written the first page of the bible on a pin - isn't this all a bit time consuming and fraught with difficulties? I shan't bother....

We're using it too:

I've also linked to it from our web site as a resource for people planning a holiday in Devon. I pin a mix of our own photos and ones from other relevant sites.

We set up a Pinterest for business account which means that we get a link to our web site and stats of how many of our photos were pinned (not many).

I quite like it but have no idea of its value as a marketing tool. People do use Pinterest to pin holiday ideas, bucket lists, etc. so it may bring us to someone's attention who then goes on to book. Time will tell. I find it easier than Facebook and much less time consuming.
