quick help pleeease! uploading photos to FB page

am trying to upload new bathroom photos...we rotated them after downloading them from camera...but they're uploading sideways on.......
Can anyone help?

Have you tried loading them un-rotated? I had pics from my mobile which were upside down to me but once on FB displayed the right way up.

Strange, as they're happily upright in my photos file on the computer along with everything else........
sigh.

I've had that problem. I think I resized it.

It randomly happens to me elsewhere too, not just facebook. I open the photo in another programme such as paint, rotate it, even if it actually displays correctly, then once at the correct way up, click save. Even if it means going a full 360 degrees, it seems to then tell other software very firmly that it's the right way up.

Thanks both.
I tried rotating it the other way, resizing downwards, reformatting from portrait to landscape - nothing worked!
Lost patience after that but will start from scratch again today.
