Lay My Hat

I'm travelling from Cumbria in the UK to our property near Pau on May 8th and will have an empty van on the journey down if anyone has an items they would like me to transport for them. I'll be travelling via Calais, through Le Mans, Tours, Poitiers and Bordeaux. No frozen shopping I'm afraid!

Oh I wish you had posted this message earlier as we have quite a few boxes of stuff in Lancashire that we are struggling to get to Germany without paying a fortune for.

5 days just doesn't give me long enough to make all the arrangements.

I'm not suggesting that you brought it to Germany btw but we could have met you in Calais and of course we would have paid you for your trouble.

If you happen to be making the journey again - unlikely I know - drop me a pm and we'll see if we can sort something out.

Where in Lancs is the pick-up? I don't mind collecting if that's the problem.

It's close to Ramsbottom, in storage and friends have the key. That's only half the problem though as I'll be in Budapest at the weekend with no option to change the trip.

I'll be making another trip on May 17th if that's any help and will be in Calais early on the morning of the 18th. What is it that you require transporting and in roughly what quantity (cubic meters)?

Hello... What route might you be taking in the uk, please? Anywhere near Cheltenham, or are you travelling more to the east?
