Liner / margelle sealant

Good morning, all:
Having bought my border (thank you for the previous links), and closely examined my liner (from in the pool
), I think it might be sensible to change the mastic between the liner and the margelles as there are some areas where it has retracted a little, prior to applying the border. I doubt it is worth just covering it with the border?
I realise that this probably means removing it all, and re-doing it : what it the best product to use : Rubson piscine? (but transparent) or Sikasil (white)?
Any recommendations and tips (I fancy floating around in an inflatable chair, rather than craning my neck and upper body over the edge....) ?
