Thanks Jane, I have looked at these but they only come with a 2 year guarantee whereas some of the others come with 10 years. However the fact they heat up quickly and are easy to program is a bonus. There seems very little Independent info/reviews on the various makes so in the end I suspect I will have to pick one and hope for the best!

Yes, I had that problem too - there are lots of reviews for portable electric heaters by Which etc. but I couldn't find any for radiators. I suppose it would be difficult to compare them - they'd have to install them.

Guarantee - oops, to be honest I hadn't checked this.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with whatever you choose.
