Hi everyone - we just got a booking out of the blue for four and a bit months in the off season from Nov till March. We have two modest little places in the south of Italy and I'd like to find someone to let the other one to.

where I might target advertising to perhaps find other British (or Europeans) people/pensioners that want to avoid a northern winter by agreeing a sharp off season price?

I can't help on that one, but I just wanted to flag that in Spain any rental exceeding three months is not a holiday let and is subject to different rental rules and taxation rules. Not sure if the same is going to be an issue in Italy.
