bookings 2017

Post by ianthy »

Hi

How are bookings/business developing for 2017. My normal busy period for enquiries and bookings tends to be late Jan onwards. This years I have moved my rates to euros.

How is everyone else doing - better, same or worse than last year?

Thanks for reading.

As 99% of our guests are from the UK, we always price in GB Pounds. It makes payments easier for them, and they don't need to worry if (as now) the Euro becomes stronger against the Pound.

We are in Greece, so sorry to butt in. In Italy you probably have a wider variety nationalities as guests, with Euros being their predominant currency.

Most definitely better than last year. My guests so far are a mix: Canadians, Brits, Danes, US and Russians.

I opened my newly refurbished villa for bookings in June 2016, so I cannot really make any comparisons, but so far so good: August sold out, May-September 60% full so far. I even got a three weeks booking for May 2018....
Most guests from Germany, but a few from Belgium and the Netherlands.

I just checked out your villa and it is lovely. I felt relaxed just looking at the photo gallery.
