Is this compulsory now does anyone know? I was able to switch it off before and haven't turned it on but its there....

It's not just there ...

I'm not going back in but if I remember correctly;
There was a large blue banner triumphantly announcing how 'we asked & they delivered' this "AWESOME" new reply experience ?? There is/was a toggle on the end which I promptly set to off & left.
I only have a few days of subs left & was only there to check auto renew hadn't mysteriously reset itself, so maybe I saw a beta version.
Yet more pointless interference IMO
